Technology has grown faster than we have

Over the past decade, technologies and the amount of software options have exploded with new invention and innovation not even imagined ten, or five, or sometimes, even two years ago. And, as we move forward, this innovation will double and redouble at an ever-increasing rate.

In light of these changes, many of the custom business programs written just a few years ago—in languages such as COBOL and database tools like ISAM—that were fine for their time—just don’t have the flexibility to address the needs of today’s modern technologies like hand-held wireless and optical devices, or the shift to more and more NET-based applications.

As a result, we see lots of companies like yours—who may have made inroads into niche vertical markets—scrambling to allocate the skilled talent, R&D and capital resources to develop new solutions that will address their clients’ needs; while, at the same time still needing to maintain and support their established core products.
